Payton loves her binky! In the past few months we have been working to get her to not use it so much. We are down to 3 occasions; getting ready for bedtime (but only when she doesn't seem tired to help her calm down & know what's coming up), bed/nap time, & sacrament meeting.

Also this one was taken a while ago. You'll recognize the butt up in the air pose from an earlier post. I wanted you to see this because it shows how quirky our kid is. She does this thing where she opens her mouth up really wide & we are not quite sure why. This is something that she does a lot & I hope she still does it when she's talking because I'm really interested to see what the heck she is doing. In the meantime.... Do you have any suggestions as to what she is doing?

She was watching Monsters while I was getting ready to go & wouldn't stay still. So I pulled out the stool & ta-da!! I'm a genious!She started swinging her feet & turn to me & smile.
And of coarse she figured out if she sat on the edge that she could sit & stand by herself. So it was up & down & up & down.
All in & all she sat there for 30 minutes. Sweet!! It would have been quicker if I didn't have to sit & watch & take pics. It's hard to get things done when she's being so cute!

It's Swim Time!

Yes it is ALL about the outfit! And the pose!!!
So I think that she enjoyed the pool. The class was pretty cheesy but the kids had a good time.
I signed up so that I could work on the things that they teach in my mom's pool. It's pretty expensive... $10 for a 1/2 hour.
Every time we got to the side she tried to climb out. I think it was because Dad was there taking pictures.
Trying to get her to kick. She wasn't thrilled with being on her back.
Just floating, seeing what the babies would do.

The noodle thing didn't last that long. She took that off after only a few minutes.
We've got 2 more classes. And hopefully she will still continue to enjoy it.

I did discover that it is better to spray sun block onto your hand & then onto a baby so they don't try to squirm away. Apparently it is cold & she didn't like it!
