The secret to a good car trip with a 3 year old is give them a job. Or at least this one stop we did & she ran around & got a lot more energy out... & yes that is a smile after 6 hours in the car.
She also enjoyed the wind!
It didn't help the car get any cleaner but she sure did have a good time!

I love the idea of putting them to work and burning some energy on a road trip. I will definitely try that one!
