Cinco De Mayo

On Cinco De Mayo we went on the train down to Olvera Street, by way of the VA Hospital.

Donald has to get an xray done & it was so fast, we didn't have to wait at all.

Payton has been into spiders lately... & I don't mean 'oh look a spider lets play with it'. It's more like she talks about them all day & pretends that she is one & the minute she sees one it's drama & she's freaking out.

It was so fun to go down & see all of the festivities. Payton & I got a taquito that was awesome.

By the way, the dress she's wearing is one that I wore when I was her size & she calls it her Cinco Dress.

Payton's Prayers

We have been working on her prayers for a while & we are finally making some headway. We usually don't have prompt her as much, I think she was just camera shy.

Grandma's have the touch

Hailey was not happy about her feet being put in the cold pool & was hungry. So while Jamie got her bottle ready Grandma did what only she can do.

Now that's a happy & adhorable baby!

Swimming...

The best part about my mom's pool is the it is a dark bottom pool so the water was perfect for swimming & not cold AT ALL!

Hailey loved the jaccuzi, after it was heated. Yup that's our girl!

Payton was very 'helpful' with Hailey. She always wanted to help. She was IN HEAVEN having Hailey around. She is baby crazy right now....

The Grandkids....

Look at how cute these kids are. JD, Jamie & Hailey drove down to surprise my mom for Mother's Day.

Humming Bird

About a month ago I bought a cheapy humming bird feeder & attached it to a tree just outside of our patio. It is so fun to see the humming birds coming & going. I didn't realize how aggressive & territorial they are. We have 2 that I can identify, one comes & sits while he eats & the other hovers & gets chased off by the other. This happens all day long. It's crazy.

Also they aren't very skiddish of people. We were out there & they were flying within a few feet of us. I guess they care more about the food then they did about us!

This last one is to show you my flowers... they are looking so good!

Piggy Tails

I never blow dry my hair but this particular day I did & Payton wanted me to do the same to hers. Actually I used to blow dry her hair every day but then one day I didn't have time & that's when I discovered that her hair was curly. So once her hair was dry-ish she asked for a pony tail. After her frustration from not being able to see the pony tail she ended up with pig tails. And she loved it!

Since it wasn't completely dry it ended up curling a little but I was surprised how long her hair was.

Her little poses crack me up.

I love this girl! & all of her attitude!
